2020 Chevrolet Impala
Spacious and sophisticated, the 2020 Chevrolet Impala offers the kind of luxury that’s totally attainable.
Will there be a 2020 Impala?
The 2020 Chevrolet Impala is already here. Although there was talk that this all-American sedan might be discontinued, the powers that be at GM appear to have changed their minds. The Impala will stick around for the new model year.

What’s new for the 2020 Chevrolet Impala?
This new Impala drops last year’s base LS trim model and 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine. New models come standard with the previously optional 3.6-liter V6 engine, which is good news, because it was always the peppier choice. Indeed, the 2020 Impala’s V6 gets you off to a great start, thanks to a luxury-car-like output of 305 horsepower and 264 pound-feet of torque.
Why choose the 2020 Chevrolet Impala?
Get the Impala because you want a great price on a luxurious full-size sedan. With a starting MSRP of just $31,620, the 2020 Impala is highly attainable. With its smooth, powerful ride and spacious, upscale cabin, you’ll feel like you paid much more. Inside, you’ll find seating for up to five passengers, all of whom will enjoy premium head- and legroom.
Every Impala is decked out in tech features. This sedan keeps you connected with modern smartphone gear, including Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity and two standard USB ports for charging. Safety aids, including forward collision warning, are optional.

You’ll also appreciate the Impala’s sophisticated ride. Its powerful V6 engine gives you the speed you need for smooth highway merging. On uneven roads, the suspension does a nice job of smoothing over bumps for maximum ride comfort.
What are the 2020 Chevrolet Impala trim levels?
This year, there are only two Impala trims, the LT and Premier. Both are handsomely equipped with modern features. The LT is especially tech-savvy, with a standard lineup that includes everything from a Wi-Fi hotspot to smartphone infotainment integration with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The 8-inch infotainment touchscreen is intuitive, keeping distraction at a minimum with its easy-to-use menus. The base Impala even includes two USB ports, which come in handy when you’ve got devices to charge.
There are two optional packages available for the 2020 Chevrolet Impala LT. Choose the Driver Confidence package for extra help avoiding danger, compliments of features like blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert. The optional Convenience package helps you ward off winter chills with heated front seats and a heated steering wheel. This package also includes a household-style power outlet to charge bigger devices, including your laptop.
The top-trim Premier comes with the LT features and the contents of the Driver Confidence package. From there, it adds extra style, with19-inch wheels, exclusive exterior accents, and xenon lighting. Inside, it’s even more stylish, with ambient lighting and leather upholstery. On the tech front, the Premier makes life easier with a wireless smartphone charging pad and navigation. As the line’s most luxurious model, it adds to your comfort with a heated, power-adjustable steering wheel and driver-seat memory settings.
For a little extra elegance, add the Premier Convenience package to your Impala Premier. Its flashy 20-inch wheels will have heads turning. The package also offers extra safety, with forward collision warning and lane departure warning technology.
